I’m an 18 year old living in Markham, Ontario, Canada. I’ve lived in Bangkok, Thailand up until 2006.
I’ve been “into” photography ever since taking my first black and white film course back in grade 7 (that’s about 5 years ago).
When I lived in Thailand, I used to only take pictures of things I come across and barely ever of people – mainly shots of the city, streets, or exotic destinations.
Since moving to Toronto, the things I saw outside just didn’t interest me in the same way, but I didn’t want to just leave photography, so I threw a roll of white seamless into the basement and started to look into portrait photography and off camera lighting.
I still love both types of photography – just whatever opportunity comes by my way.
I enjoy traveling a lot, and always go back to visit Asia every summer – so I make sure I still get my dose of travel photography every year. Of course, I squeeze in as much non-portrait photography as I can when visiting places in Canada & the US as well. After all, that is the love which first ignited my interest in photography.
